Leverage – a key concept for success

Four years ago I bought a book by Robert Kiyosaki called ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ that completely changed the way I looked at making money. I came to understand the term LEVERAGE and what it means.

In short we can leverage 3 things; our time, our money and our energy.

Leveraging, simply put, means using each of these sources of ‘power’ in a way that delivers the maximum value back you, with the end result being that you actually create more of each!

The truth is if you have a ‘job’ then you are simply trading time for money – and you have little or no leverage.

I’m not sure about you but for me there are better ways to spend my time than tweeting all day – and yet Twitter is a hugely powerful social media marketing resource and one not to be ignored.

Keyword Research the easy way

Discovering the most relevant keywords for your marketing and understanding the ones you can compete for effectively is a hugely important part of making money online. In my opinion Market Samurai is the best keyword research tool I have found to do this.

Ezines are online electronic publications, targeted at specific audiences and are a highly effective way for an Internet Marketer to attract and build an audience that is genuinely interested in whatever it is you are promoting.

You can advertise in a specific ezine (aimed directly at your target audience).

The Directory of Ezines (DOE) has over 1000 lists to choose from. To help you get started they will even write your ads for you! I’m a member of the DOE and I think its great value for money.

Website Legal Stuff – the easy way

Like it or loathe it all Internet Marketers are now well advised to clearly understand their obligations regarding legal notices and disclaimers on their websites, in addition to understanding what you can and can’t say when promoting a product or service. Without doubt this is one of the most important resources to me.. had I not have invested in this towards the beginning of my journey into Internet Marketing there is no way I would have made the progress I have today.
